Most civilized societies have developed euphemisms. Some people don't like them at all, equating them with beating around the bush, avoiding clarity or unnecessarily buffering us from harsh realities.
But euphemisms are a buffer. And as such are used to spare others pain, discomfort and embarrassment. To live without them might provide amusement to those who enjoy shocking others, but that in itself reveals their value.
Euphemisms are a way to spare the feeling of others, and our own feelings as well.
Do others and yourself a favor and use them.
That's what they're there for.
