When having a few followers is still one too many

There is more to consider about acquiring followers than simply increasing their number.

Jesus added twelve followers, but that was one still one too many.

In the end, that extra "friend" unfriended Him.

"Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
