Something Missing in the UN's Recipe for World Peace

The U.N. has a wall bearing the inscription, "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore. Isaiah "

But this is only the second part of the scripture verse, (Isaiah 2:4)
They left out this first part: "He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore."

This quotation out of context demonstrates the presumption of the nations, united in belief that they can have peace, all the while rejecting God, whose word they are using.

Peace comes when it is received on God's terms. As long as man in in control of the world, or of himself, there will never be peace.
