Vampires and politicians are largely unpopular, and for much the same reason. It is said that the rising sun can save us from vampires. But what can save us from the other class of blood-sucking pests?
A well-known prayer has a key phrase that gives us the answer, "....Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done..."
When the day dawns on the inaugural day of that kingdom, there will be no veil of darkness where corrupt politician can slink off to. The Son of God will be the light of that Kingdom, and when it comes, it will be a day where all is cleansed of every evil thing, including those most persistent pests, those corrupt politicians.
Awesome! Can't wait for the day...but, of course, I must.
