The Fine Line Between Creative Parenting and Comic Cruelty

Stimulating slacker adolescents to succeed is a difficult thing.  Even though I am not in favor of trolling teens, I can't help but admire this creative approach. It must save a lot of arguments. Every time the student starts whining about not having access to the phone, the parent can just point to it and say, "When you pass the class, you can break the glass."
