Sometimes a storyteller tries to improve a story by adding a special twist. Often the story is enhanced, but at the expense of the core message.
This even happened in the Bible:
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ" Gal 1:6-7Way back in the 1st Century, some unscrupulous preachers were changing the core message of the Gospel to gain acceptance and control of the early church.
This was rebuked. But men today continue to twist the story until it follows their own plot line, instead of the one intended by the author.
The best solution is this: Know the original work and its Author so well that you can spot the tampering and plot twists added by others and avoid them.
